Nice picture!

You have written that you used 55-250 IS lens. Is it EF-S 55-250 IS lens of 58 mm thread? Does it have large apurture of F/2.8? I also have Canon EOS 1000D and am planning to buy 55-250 lens, so am curious about its features and results.

Go ahead and buy it.. It is a f 4/5.6 and 58 mm thread .. perfect choice for your 1000 D. Have a look at the Sigma 70-300 mm ( I think) Also.


This photo is with the Canon 100 mm macro f 2.8 USM and a combo of the 50 mm kit lens reversed, and then cropped from the sides.
